Rhonda Switzer-Nadasdi, D.M.D.
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Rhonda Switzer-Nadasdi graduated from the dental program at the University of Manitoba in 1991. Since then, she has spent her career overseeing dental programs for the poor. She served as head of dentistry at a fly-in health center in the sub-arctic location of Churchill, Manitoba. She also worked as a staff dentist for the Department of Health in Hamilton, Bermuda, where she treated children of low-income families, people with mental disabilities, and people in nursing homes and prisons.

 Dr. Switzer-Nadasdi became the first employee of the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee in 1995 and has served as the CEO. During her tenure, the clinic has grown from a two-chair operation located in a church basement to a ten-chair clinic with a staff of 35, providing more than $4 million in care each year. She is an avid sportswoman with a golf handicap of three and a top scorer on her coed ice hockey team.

Andrea Stilwell
Chief Officer of Education

Andrea joined our team in June 2014. Prior to that, she worked for Bank of America as part of the Local Market Delivery team delivering the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and other initiatives across three states. She began her career in the nonprofit world, working in various roles for two Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations in Indiana. She graduated from Ball State University with a degree in political science and public relations. She also holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University, with concentrations in nonprofit management and policy analysis. Outside of work, she is an active volunteer with several Nashville nonprofits, most notably Junior League and reading each week to the pre-K students at a local school through the PENCIL Foundation.

Melissa Meier, D.M.D.
Chief Program Officer

Dr. Meier joined the Interfaith staff in early 2017 after completing her Advanced Dentistry Residency at Interfaith. She is a 2015 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and has deep roots at Interfaith. Dr. Meier was an extern at Interfaith while in dental school and interned during her undergrad studies at Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Society. As Chief Program Officer, Dr. Meier also has faculty appointments with NYU, University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University.

Lindsay Baker, RDA Instructor

Lindsay joined the Interfaith staff in February 2005 as a dental assistant at our greater Nashville clinic. She has been assisting in our Rutherford County clinic since its opening in February 2012. She graduated from Volunteer State Community College's Dental Assisting Program in 2003. She completed her clinical externship at Interfaith Dental Clinic and served as a dental assisting volunteer prior to joining our team. In addition to her previous volunteerism with the clinic, throughout her tenure Lindsay has also been a supporter of the organization as a donor. She has a passion for teaching and loves helping patients achieve a better quality of life through a healthier smile. She resides in Rutherford County and stays busy with her four children. Outside of a busy professional and family life, Lindsay also enjoys playing cards and learning about forensic and anthropological research through resources like UT’s “Body Farm.”

George A. Adams, Sr. D.D.S., M.S.D., Instructor

Dr. George Adams Sr. retired from private practice recently, but started his career in pediatric dentistry in Nashville in 1977. He attended Indiana University School of Dentistry for dental school and his pediatric residency. He became board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1981 and served on their examination committee for many years. In addition to caring for patients in his office, Dr. Adams Sr. has spent countless hours working on committees to protect the access to dental care for children. He serves as the pediatric consultant to the Tennessee Board of Dentistry and the Tennessee Dental Association Sedation Committee.

George A. Adams, Jr. D.M.D., Instructor

Dr. George Adams Jr. joined his father (fellow pediatric dentist Dr. George Adams, Sr.) in the battle against dental disease in 2001. He attended the University of Kentucky for dental school, his pediatric residency where he was Chief Resident, and basketball viewing. He completed the arduous process of board certification in 2006. Community service is important to Dr. Adams Jr. as he practices it both locally and internationally. He has been involved with Interfaith Dental Clinic serving low-income families without dental insurance ever since arriving back in Nashville armed with a dental license in 2001. He has also rid the locals of Gobert, Haiti of their dental pain through multiple medical and dental missions since 2004. Dr. Adams Jr. and his wife Jamie have two daughters, Olivia and Meg, and a son named William.
