Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-driven nonprofit agency that helps vulnerable populations achieve and sustain and healthy smile. Interfaith Dental’s mission is to create a healthier community by providing transformational oral health care for those experiencing poverty.
Interfaith Dental now serves vulnerable populations in two clinic locations within a ten-county region of Middle Tennessee. Interfaith Dental focuses on life transformation through dentistry offering both access to oral health services as well as education, motivation, and inspiration.

About the Role
We’re searching for a Registered Dental Assistant who brings energy, teamwork, and heart to patient care. You’ll play a key role in both clinical excellence and creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
What You’ll Do
Position: Dental Scholar (Paid, 12-Month Fellowship)
This opportunity is open for recent graduates or graduating seniors interested in pursuing a career in Dentistry.
Are you passionate about healthcare, service, and making a meaningful impact? Join Interfaith Dental as a Dental Scholar and gain hands-on experience in community dentistry, public health, and nonprofit healthcare leadership.
This paid, 12-month opportunity offers real-world exposure to clinic operations, volunteer coordination, community outreach, and patient care initiatives. Scholars work closely with leadership and report to the Chief Officer of Statewide Initiatives while contributing to projects that directly impact patients and communities across Tennessee.
