Who we are

Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-driven nonprofit agency that helps vulnerable populations achieve and sustain and healthy smile. Interfaith Dental’s mission is to create a healthier community by providing transformational oral health care for those experiencing poverty.

Interfaith Dental now serves vulnerable populations in two clinic locations within a ten-county region of Middle Tennessee.  Interfaith Dental focuses on life transformation through dentistry offering both access to oral health services as well as education, motivation, and inspiration.

Community Dental Health Coordinator (CDHC)

We are seeking a Community Dental Health Coordinator (CDHC) to serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and community partners. This role will:

  • Deliver oral health education, screenings, and case management.
  • Guide older adults into establishing dental homes.
  • Support outreach efforts with senior centers, AAADs, nonprofits, and healthcare providers.
  • Document and report on patient needs and outcomes.

What You Bring

  • RDA or RDH (required).
  • Willingness to complete CDHC, SHIP, and CHW training.
  • Strong communication, outreach, and problem-solving skills.

Program Administrator - Nursing Home Oral Health Initiative

The Role
The Program Administrator will lead our Nursing Home Oral Health Initiative, coordinating care delivery in long-term care facilities. This role manages facility partnerships, scheduling, and data tracking while ensuring residents receive consistent, prevention-based oral health services. Reporting to the Chief Officer of Statewide Initiatives, you’ll serve as the primary liaison between facilities, dental teams, and Interfaith staff. To learn more or to apply, click here!

Registered Dental Hygienist- Nashville Clinic & External Sites

The role you will play

  • Provide preventive & periodontal care (SRP, prophy, fluoride, SDF)
  • Perform x-rays, perio charting, and oral hygiene education
  • Support teledentistry services under written protocols
  • Work compassionately with older adults and medically complex patients
  • Mentor hygiene volunteers and share patient stories that inspire

 

Active RDH license (with CPR, local anesthetic, and nitrous oxide certifications)
