Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-driven nonprofit agency that helps vulnerable populations achieve and sustain and healthy smile. Interfaith Dental’s mission is to create a healthier community by providing transformational oral health care for those experiencing poverty.

Interfaith Dental now serves vulnerable populations in two clinic locations within a ten-county region of Middle Tennessee.  Interfaith Dental focuses on life transformation through dentistry offering both access to oral health services as well as education, motivation, and inspiration.

Development Associate

Interfaith Dental is seeking a detail-oriented, relationship-driven Development Associate who finds joy
in connecting donors to meaningful impact. As a mission-driven nonprofit, this role supports donor
stewardship, fundraising efforts, events, and communications that help expand access to care across
our communities.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening donor relationships, coordinating impactful events, and ensuring
every contribution is acknowledged with care and accuracy.

What You’ll Do
• Process and acknowledge donor gifts with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain donor records and support reporting in Bloomerang
• Coordinate events from planning to execution, including logistics and volunteers
• Support donor communications, thank-you outreach, and stewardship efforts
• Assist with social media, storytelling, and e-newsletter content
• Collaborate across teams to support fundraising campaigns and initiatives

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in event planning, fundraising, or administration
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort learning new systems (Bloomerang experience a plus)
• Passion for mission-driven, community-focused work

Patient Care Coordinator (Intake)- Murfreesboro Clinic

Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate oral health care. We serve communities experiencing poverty across Middle Tennessee, providing not only dental services but also education, encouragement, and hope. If you’re looking for purpose in your career — this is it.

We’re seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator (Intake) to create a
welcoming experience for every patient whether in person or on the phone. You’ll help guide patients with clarity and care from their very first interaction.

What You’ll Do
• Greet patients and create a positive first impression
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and guide next steps
• Collect and maintain accurate patient information
• Help patients navigate programs and resources
• Keep schedules organized and clinic flow running smoothly

What You Bring
• 1+ year of reception or patient-facing experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
• Microsoft Office skills (Dentrix a plus!)
• A genuine passion for helping others

Treatment Plan and Scheduling Coordinator

Position: Treatment Plan and Scheduling Coordinator

Interfaith Dental is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Treatment Plan & Scheduling
Coordinator who helps patients move forward in their care with confidence and dignity. As a missiondriven nonprofit, we provide care through insurance, sliding fee scales, and special programs and this
role is key to helping patients understand their options and next steps.
You’ll partner closely with our clinical team to reinforce treatment plans, coordinate scheduling, and
guide patients through financial pathways with clarity and care.

What You’ll Do
• Review treatment plans with patients and explain next steps
• Coordinate scheduling across providers to maximize access to care
• Help patients navigate insurance, sliding fee scale, and assistance programs
• Manage confirmations, reschedules, and missed appointments
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered support

What You Bring
• 2+ years of dental or patient coordination experience
• Strong understanding of dental procedures and workflows
• Experience with Dentrix (preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• A heart for mission-driven work
