Who we are

Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-driven nonprofit agency that helps vulnerable populations achieve and sustain and healthy smile. Interfaith Dental’s mission is to create a healthier community by providing transformational oral health care for those experiencing poverty.

Interfaith Dental now serves vulnerable populations in two clinic locations within a ten-county region of Middle Tennessee.  Interfaith Dental focuses on life transformation through dentistry offering both access to oral health services as well as education, motivation, and inspiration.

Sterile Tech – Registered Dental Assistant

We are looking for a Sterile Tech – Registered Dental Assistant who is positive, dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment. This role is essential to keeping our clinic running smoothly and safely while supporting both patients and clinic staff.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage instrument sterilization and infection control processes
  • Maintain sterilization equipment and logs
  • Stock and organize dental supplies and operatories
  • Support OSHA compliance and clinic cleanliness
  • Assist with lab case management and handpiece maintenance
  • Provide chairside dental assisting support as needed

What You Bring:

  • Active Registered Dental Assistant License
  • CPR Certification 
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassion for serving vulnerable populations
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Patient Care Coordinator (Out take)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate Patient Care Coordinator (Out take) to support patients at the end of their visit ensuring they understand next steps, treatment plans, and financial arrangements. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Patients at checkout with care and clarity
  • Reinforce treatment plans and next steps
  • Manage payments, ledgers, and financial arrangements
  • Schedule follow-ups and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate insurance, sliding fee scale, and programs
  • Keep schedules organized and clinic flow strong
 

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of dental office experience
  • Knowledge of dental insurance & financial coordination
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Dentrix Enterprise and Microsoft experience preferred
  • A passion for heling patients feel supported
